Meet Justin Threadgate, widely known in the Newcastle and Hunter region as "Images by Juz." Born and raised amidst the stunning landscapes of Newcastle, Justin's love for the outdoors and the mesmerising allure of the ocean have shaped his passion for photography from an early age.

Growing up with a mother who was deeply involved in fine art and photography, Justin was exposed to the world of visual creativity from the start. It was only a matter of time before he would embark on a similar artistic journey. Several years ago, he acquired his first DSLR camera and drone, unlocking the door to his innate creativity and allowing him to explore his beloved coastlines and marine life from unique and captivating perspectives.

Justin's photographic style is distinguished by his ability to capture the essence of the East Coast in a way that few can. His images display a profound connection with the landscapes and seascapes he photographs, giving viewers an intimate glimpse into the beauty and grandeur of nature. Constantly seeking to improve and expand his photography skills, Justin's dedication to honing his craft led him to enroll with The Photography Institute. Here, he committed himself to completing a Diploma of Photography, further enhancing his technical expertise and artistic vision. Through this academic journey, he gained valuable insights and refined his ability to masterfully edit and enhance his photographs, ensuring that each image exudes a sense of wonder and evokes emotions in those who view them.
